Depression over Bay may weaken
Thereport24.com Desk : The depression crossing Chittagong coast moved slightly northeastwards, weakened into a well-marked low and now lies over Sitakunda and adjoining coastal area.
It may weaken further by giving precipitation. Under its influence sea will remain rough, reports BSS.
Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no. 3 (three), a Met Office special weather bulletin said today.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
