An all-round performance on the field helps the hosts win the third ODI against Bangladesh by 70 in Colombo to level the third-match series 1-1.

Chasing 281 for a series win, Bangladesh scored 210 for all wickets with 5.3 overs to go.

Nuwan Kulasekara was the pick of the bowlers as he returned with the bowling figures of 4/37 while Surunga Lakmal, Dilruwan Perera and S Prasanna took two-wickets apiece.

For Bangladesh, it was Shakib Al Hasan and Mehedi Hasan, who showed resistance, but regular wickets on regular intervals never helped the visitors recover from the early scar. Shakib and Mehedi scored fifty with 54 and 51 runs respectively.

Earlier in their 1st innings, Kusal Mendis and Thisara Perara scored fifties before the hosts were bundled out for 280.
